Emotional resilience workshop for high performing teams
"An excellent session"
THE ART & SCIENCE OF RESILIENCE & SELF-REGULATION
Combining education and practice, this is a workshop which will equip your teams with practical tools they can use to self-regulate and build their own resilience.
I explain why we bother with self-regulation – how the nervous system works and is impacted by stress; how quickly the thinking brain can be ‘switched off’ and how to bring it online again.
We practise a range of techniques that can be introduced immediately to calm the body and mind.
What you will experience
The workshop will be tailored to your needs, but your team can look forward to:
The ‘why’ of these techniques: an overview of the nervous system and stress itself – the good, the bad and the ugly. What dis-regulation is, how it happens and the impact on the thinking brain & performance. How to ‘train’ the body for regulation & resilience
Our external environment: managing it, and the triggers within it, to protect the impact on your nervous system
Building a resilient internal environment: experience tools that you can use in two minutes and in the heat of the moment, plus techniques if you have more time, which you can practise to build longer term resilience.
Your team will leave empowered with practical, research based tools and techniques that they can use immediately to make a difference to their own lives and performance.
“Fiona was able to connect with our Corporate audience in a way which far exceeded my expectations. She is an excellent presenter and facilitator and kept the audience engaged for the full session, both the people in the room and those who joined remotely. Her content was brilliant. We look forward to having Fiona back again in the future!”
“Yesterday’s session was excellent. Fiona was an excellent instructor, and I found all the techniques she taught us to be really valuable. I was so chilled out by the end – unfortunately I had to go and lead a global team meeting right afterwards, I could hardly speak for the first 10 minutes!” (Moody’s plc)
