I spent my 20s and part of my 30s enjoying a successful career in corporate life, latterly in sports marketing. At the same time as having my first child (terrible timing) I co-founded a business which went on to be publicly listed and then, just after having my second child, set up my own marketing consultancy. I was juggling – wanting to combine success & happiness at work, home, in parenting and marriage. I didn’t get it right, though, and a severe & frightening bout of pneumonia stopped me in my tracks. I realise now that I was running unhelpful beliefs about work, my value & what ‘success’ meant to me, all of which needed to change.
I now typically work with very capable people who have been coping with issues, but know these are taking a toll on their career, relationship, parenting, health or joyfulness. There are always limiting beliefs & unhelpful memories, and possibly some trauma or emotional neglect. I have supported hundreds of clients globally to live a wholehearted life, be their true selves, make changes if change is needed and enjoy it a lot more.
“A balance of being physically, mentally & emotionally healthy is more my thing”
Being physically fit & healthy is important to me – like a dog, I am much more socially acceptable if I am regularly exercised, and over the years have done my share of endurance and sporting challenges. I don’t need them like I used to. Now, a balance of being physically, mentally & emotionally healthy is more my thing, and this is where I spend my energy. I do still love beer and coffee – and am at my happiest when surrounded by people with whom I can be my most silly, most vulnerable, most me.
“Working with Fiona has been such a gift. My family have noticed how much lighter and more ‘me’ I am these days.” (Suzie B)
Having worked in and around health for 25 years, I have always been open to new approaches and learning. The hippie in me is inquisitive and my inner scientist looks for underpinning support. I have tried many different approaches myself but have only continued with those that have worked; and only with people I trust.
This is how I found Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). It was introduced to me by my sister when my teen was overwhelmed and anxious with the demands of school and a commitment to competitive sport. Things had come to a head & other options were not working. With EFT, we saw improvement after a few sessions. It blew my mind.
I decided to become an EFT practitioner. I trained with EFT Founding Master, Hay House author and Creator of Matrix Reimprinting Karl Dawson, and started on my own journey helping others.
I have worked with hundreds of clients globally, either on Zoom or in person in South West London. I also run certified EFT Practitioner training, and lead corporate workshops with high performing teams, teaching self-regulation and emotional resilience skills. I also co-host Power 12-month power programmes to support our attendees in setting and achieving transformational goals.
Each day I see how this powerful work calms the nervous system, clears negative emotions and ‘unblocks’ clients. I support them in stepping into a new, healthier & more fulfilling way forward. It is such a privilege & joy to witness these transformations in action.
